Business Rate Relief Grant Update 15 April 2020

Members who claim Business Rate Relief have been advised by Cornwall Coucil that they can claim – subject to qualification a government grant of £10,000.

It has now been established that this is a tax free grant. It maybe necessary to declare  it as an income on your tax return, but it will not be taxed.
