Notice of Business Rates by Valuation Office 2017
The Valuation Office Agency is notifying all owners who claim Business Rates of the new rateable value of their property following the 5 year review and commencing April 2017.
Owners currently claiming business rates may see a rise in proprty valuation and are invited to appeal if considered unfair or incorrect. The valuation will for the majority of CMOA members be well under the threshold for obtaining business rates relief. If the relief is 100% it will continue and therefore not pay rates at all.

- FIND properties by postcode or address.
- REVIEW property details to ensure the rateable value is correct.
If the property information is incorrect, ask us to update our property records online at http://www.gov.uk/voa/revaluation.
IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS BY 30 NOVEMBER 2016 YOU COULD RISK PAYING TOO MUCH IN BUSINESS RATES FROM 1 APRIL 2017.
Some ratepayers are eligible for small business rates relief, depending on their circumstances. You can check online whether you qualify, and also get an estimate of your 2017-18 bill.
