Property Valuation-Business Rates

The Property Valuation Agency is now sending out valuation forms to all owners who let their property out as self-catering accommodation and claiming business rate relief.

Members will recall from the minutes April 2022 that the minimum letting days has now been reduced to 70 days as from April this year 2023.

Owners who let through JFH or MJL  are still required to supply income and number of lets as per the form.

Under the change of legislation property valuations will now be carried out every 3 years – next one 2026.
