CMOA meeting 30.10.16
Perran owners side meeting (summary)
Heavily discounted breaks were sometimes resulting in owners ending up out of pocket. Some have decided not to accept them. However, we often are not aware of the final monies owing to us until we receive our accounts.
One unit expressed concern about the quality of their clean, and Matt is looking into this.
Queries about the number of items on inventory that regularly go missing and have to be replaced – Amanda explained that some holiday makers appear to take the frying pans out of the units for barbeques and then discard them.
Examples of cladding will begin on two JF units, so owners will have a chance to view these to see if this is something they would like to adopt. The colours available will see sand, grey and blue.
The state of the car park was raised again, and again questions were asked about where the road maintenance money charged every year actually goes.
Wifi – owners are very much in favour of improved wifi and around the site. Matt is looking into the possibility of providing repeaters around the site/making a hotspot charge.
Difficulties in loading and unloading passengers (especially children/elderly/disabled) and cases on the circuit road. There were suggestions that perhaps specific areas could be created around the site with a clear 10 minute only drop off allowance.
