Tolroy Manor site report for AGM 3 November 2019 .
After conversation with the manager Gavin Lewis it is apparent that Tolroy has had another good year thanks to the efforts of Gavin and his team in all aspects of keeping holidaymakers and their families happy, be it the hard working entertainment staff or the maintenance and housekeeping teams beavering away behind the scenes.
During my visit in July it was immediately apparent that the hard work was paying off with relaxed and happy people in abundance and the park as a whole was resplendent with colourful hanging baskets and blooming flower beds.
Bookings are already being taken for the 2020 season which bodes well for the future.
The site has received 3 awards this year:
Commended by the Cornwall Tourism Awards in the Wildlife Friendly Business category.
A gold award in `Hayle in bloom`.
A gold accolade and woodlands badge for wildlife habitat awarded by Professor Bellamy.
Congratulations to all.
Sadly Gavin and his wife Amy are leaving Tolroy to move upwards within the JFH organisation and we wish them well for the future and feel sure his successor will continue to build on the solid base created by Gavin.
